About me

Hey there! My name is Mike Arsenault.

I currently live in Newport, Rhode Island with my wife, Kate. We have a daughter, Elle, who is three years old and a son, Charlie, who is seven months.

 Rejoiner

I founded Rejoiner in 2012 and we help DTC brands grow customer lifetime value with email marketing. We make a highly-rated eCommerce marketing automation platform and provide a variety of email services like campaign strategy, copywriting, design, template development, and deliverability consulting.

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege to work with hundreds of eCommerce entrepreneurs and professionals at brands like Peak Design, Big Chill, A.T. Cross, Guthy Renker, Triumph, Titleist, Footjoy, Hydroflask, Mother Dirt, Native, HVMN, Fully and many more.

Unlike a lot of other marketing technology vendors, we hold ourselves accountable for delivering revenue based outcomes for our customers. Our approach is a bit different than the typical software company, but the proof comes from endorsements like these:

"...brought in over half a million dollars in last-click website revenue." VP of Marketing at Peak Design

"...email conversion rate rose by over 100% while the email volume decreased." - DTC Lead at A.T. Cross

"...email has become the company's top source of last-click revenue, increasing by nearly 40%." - Sr Brand Marketing Manager at Triumph Lingerie

...increased email-attributed revenue by 80%.” CMO at Big Chill Appliances

…revenue earned from email has increased by 36%” - Marketing Director at Mother Dirt

👨‍💻  Products

Most of my professional career has been focused on building software products for businesses. Prior to starting Rejoiner, I worked as a Product Manager for Grasshopper where I spent my time working inside of Grasshopper Labs.

Labs was a skunkworks where we worked to ship new products and services into the Grasshopper customer base. I worked with the team that brought Spreadable, Chargify and the Grasshopper iPhone app to market.

 Boats

“Believe me, my young friend, there is nothing — absolutely nothing — half so much worth doing as simply messing about in boats.
— Rat, Wind in the Willows

I started sailing after college at the Boston Sailing Center in the North End and in my early twenties, I lived aboard a W.D. Schock New York 36 at Constitution Marina in Charlestown, Massachusetts.

I’ve sailed from Cape Cod, to Newburyport, to Newport and back on many occasions. I’ve also chartered bareboats in the British Virgin Islands. But, my favorite thing to do is to tie up with friends in Brenton Cove right around the corner in Newport Harbor.
